Dr. Joseph Janowski
Dr. Joseph Janowski has been delivering outstanding orthodontic care since 1996. He received his dental education from The Ohio State University, obtained his orthodontic certificate from the University of Tennessee and is a board certified orthodontist. He is a member of many professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, the Northwestern Ohio Dental Society, and the Lima Dental Society. He and the staff at Orthodontic Associates strive to provide the very best in orthodontic care.

Dr. Matthew Mayers
Dr. Matthew Mayers joined the practice in May of 2004. He has been practicing dentistry since 1998. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He received his dental and orthodontic education from The Ohio State University where he graduated with high honors. He is a published author in the American Journal of Orthodontics. He has served three years in the United States Navy at Camp Pendleton, California. He has served as the President of The Ohio Association of Orthodontists and The Secretary of The Northwestern Ohio Dental Society. Dr. Mayers and his staff enjoy providing excellent, high-quality care.

Drs. Brendan and Kevan O'Neill
Drs. Brendan and Kevan O’Neill are excited to be practicing orthodontics back home in Northwest Ohio. The identical twins, are Lima natives and graduates of St. Charles and Lima Central Catholic. After LCC, the twins graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2005 and from Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine in 2009.
The path of the twins diverged following their 4 years at Columbia University. Dr. Brendan remained in NYC and completed his orthodontic residency at Montefiore Medical Center / Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx in 2012. After his orthodontic training, Dr. Brendan practiced 4 years in Arizona prior to moving back to Limaland. Dr. Kevan completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 2012. After 3 years of Memphis’ BBQ and Blues, Dr. Kevan moved back to NYC and completed a prestigious fellowship in craniofacial orthodontics from New York University. Dr. Kevan served as chief cleft and craniofacial orthodontist and associate clinical professor of surgery from 2014 to 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, a Brown University affiliate.
Dr. Kevan joined the craniofacial team at Dayton Children’s Hospital in October 2021. With their expertise in surgical orthodontics, the twins are passionate about treating children and adults with the most complex craniofacial issues.
Dr. Brendan and Dr. Kevan are excited to be practicing together again and honored to succeed their mentor and friend, Dr. Tom Ahman. Dr. Ahman treated the twins in the mid-1990’s and was a constant source of support and guidance to them throughout their education. Following the footsteps of Dr. Ahman, Dr. Brendan and Dr. Kevan are both board certified orthodontists, an achievement attained by only a small number of orthodontists in the country.
Dr. Brendan and Dr. Kevan have roots in Northwest Ohio and are thrilled with the opportunity to serve the community. Their father, James O’Neill, is a Lima native and an orthopedic surgeon at the Orthopedic Institute of Ohio. Their mother, Christine Armstrong, is originally from St. Marys and an advocate for the arts in Northwest Ohio. The twins’ grandpas, Alfred Armstrong and Jim O’Neill, served in the US Army / USPS and USAF / Lima Fire Department respectively, for decades. Like their grandpas, the twins are committed to delivering excellent service to the people of Northwest Ohio for decades to come.
